Have you ever met someone that had a personality that meshed with your own? Pup Dave is just such a person for me. I met him for the first time at Camp Red Tails this July. The first time we met, he sat down next to me at dinner and we chatted. As a leatherman, the first thing I noticed was the collar around his neck. We discussed that his master, Master David, had allowed him to come and play at camp. That was all I needed to hear.
I have to admit though, pups have mostly pissed me off at leather events. Many pups try to force you into their play. Very few men force me to do anything. I had had a few good experiences with pups at pup Patrick's International puppy contest in 2002 and 2003. Pup Dave is a very unassuming and authentic man. That came across immediately. I soon found myself with him at my feet while I drank coffee and scratched his head for hours.
We played a couple of times at Camp and I had a great time. Camp closed and I went back to reality. Soon afterward, I found that pup had opened a profile on SpankThis Hookups. We began chatting daily. I introduced him to Jake. He had met Master at camp. I offered my extra bed at Folsom Street Fair to his Master and pup. The five of us in the room was tight but I think it worked really well. I got to meet Master David and get his evil stare from time to time. It was a great time with great friends.
Pup Dave and I seem to share the same brain. He and I are near the same age and have many similar interests and life experiences. He sees and understands that I am obedient to Master but dominant to Jake and accepts me as I am. Hell, he has even taught me things about being a submissive.
You will notice an event announcement in the upper right corner of the page. Master David Merrill and Jacob Nathaniel Pring are your hosts there and at the door you might see a pup begging for bacon....or something more.
I guess in my time in the leather community I have found that authenticity is the sexiest thing about a leather dominant or submissive. You can wear what you want and do what you want but without being authentic to yourself, it is just playacting.
